A Call for Community Partnerships 

CASP is seeking partnerships with community agencies and third-party organizations so that together, we can maximize resources for employers and apprentices across the country, improving apprenticeship out comes for everyone.

Our Program 

We are offering small to medium-sized Canadian employers up to $10,000 to hire a new first-year apprentice. Participating employers will receive $5,000 for each first-year apprentice, and an additional $5,000 if the apprentice self-identifies as a  

  • Women
  • Indigenous person
  • Newcomer to Canada
  • Person with disabilities
  • Visible minority
  • Member of the LGBTQ2+ community

In addition to funding, participating employers will receive assistance with recruiting, onboarding, and retaining apprentices, including training on creating inclusive workplaces through front-line supervisors and workplace leaders.
